The Prince Forced Every Girl to Sit on a Golden Sphere Covered in Razor-Sharp Spikes Weighing Nearly 220 Pounds—But When the 286-Pound Count’s Daughter Stepped Into the Hall, She Did Something That Left Everyone Completely Stunned 😳🙄🫤

The prince had summoned the most beautiful young women in the kingdom to his palace and announced that one of them would become his wife. However, he immediately warned them that each woman would first have to pass a special test. He deliberately refused to reveal what the challenge would be.

The daughters of counts, dukes, and wealthy nobles arrived at the palace wearing their finest dresses, convinced that the prince would test their manners, dancing skills, or knowledge of royal etiquette.

When the doors to the throne room opened, the women entered one after another. Almost immediately, they noticed a strange object in the center of the hall.

Resting on the marble floor was an enormous golden sphere covered entirely in long, razor-sharp spikes. The prince’s most loyal servants had spent several weeks crafting it, and it weighed nearly 220 pounds. The spikes were so sharp that even looking at them made some of the women uncomfortable.

The prince sat on his elevated throne, surrounded by royal guards, and watched the women silently for a while. Then he stood and announced:

“My wife will be the woman who successfully completes this challenge.”

One of the young women smiled nervously.

“And what must we do, Your Highness?”

The prince calmly pointed toward the golden sphere.

“You must sit on it and remain seated for as long as possible.”

A wave of fear swept through the hall.

“Sit on that?” a woman in a blue dress asked in disbelief.

“Exactly,” the prince replied.

The women exchanged frightened glances. Some immediately turned pale. It was obvious that sitting on a sphere covered in sharp spikes would be incredibly painful and potentially dangerous.

The first contestant to step forward was the daughter of a wealthy duke. She cautiously approached the sphere and tried to sit down, but she immediately cried out and jumped back.

“I can’t do this!”

The next woman managed only a few seconds. The third barely dared to lower herself before stepping away. One after another, the women attempted the challenge, but none could endure it for long. Some began to cry, others grew angry, and several refused to participate at all once they saw the spikes up close.

Throughout it all, the prince remained almost completely silent.

By the time most of the women had completed their attempts, a servant announced the name of the final contestant.

The daughter of one of the counts stepped forward.

Her name was Eleanor.

She was different from the other women. Eleanor weighed approximately 286 pounds and had a large, heavyset figure. Throughout her life, she had endured cruel remarks and ridicule because of her appearance.

The moment she appeared among the other women, several began exchanging mocking glances.

“Did she actually come here hoping to become the prince’s wife?” whispered a blonde woman wearing a silver dress.

Her friend giggled.

“Apparently. If I were her, I wouldn’t even have the courage to walk into the center of the room.”

Eleanor heard every word, but she continued walking.

When the women realized she was heading directly toward the golden sphere, their laughter grew louder.

“Wait a moment,” one contestant said mockingly. “Are we sure that thing can even support her?”

Several women burst out laughing.

“It weighs nearly 220 pounds,” another replied. “And she probably weighs even more than that!”

“Then the prince will have to order another one,” a third woman added. “This one will be crushed completely!”

Laughter echoed throughout the hall.

Eleanor paused for a moment, but then she continued forward.

“Be careful!” someone shouted from behind her. “Those spikes might break under your weight!”

“I’m more worried about the floor,” another woman joked. “What if the entire thing collapses beneath her?”

Even some of the courtiers struggled to hide their smiles.

As one woman passed Eleanor, she looked her up and down with open contempt.

“Why did you even come here? Do you honestly believe the prince would choose you over all of us?”

Eleanor stopped and looked directly at her.

“I came here to complete the challenge,” she replied calmly. “I didn’t come to ask for your permission.”

For a few seconds, the room fell silent.

But the blonde woman in the silver dress soon began laughing again.

“Then sit down. Let’s see how long you last!”

Eleanor approached the golden sphere.

Now that she was standing beside it, she could see just how sharp the spikes really were. She understood that the challenge would be painful, and she knew that everyone in the room was waiting for her to fail.

But suddenly, Eleanor, the 286-pound daughter of the count, did something that left the entire palace completely stunned. 😳😱

Eleanor understood perfectly well that the challenge would hurt. Yet after everything she had endured from the other women, she no longer wanted to turn back.

She carefully gathered her bright yellow dress in her hands, took a deep breath, and slowly lowered herself onto the sphere.

A fresh wave of laughter swept through the hall.

Ten seconds passed.

Then twenty.

Eleanor didn’t move.

She sat upright, her hands clenched tightly. Her face had grown pale, and she was clearly struggling with the discomfort, but she remained silent.

After a full minute, the hall became noticeably quieter.

“Why isn’t she getting up?” one of the contestants whispered, no longer smiling.

“I have no idea,” her companion replied.

Two minutes passed.

Eleanor was still there.

Sweat appeared on her forehead. Her fingers trembled slightly, but she continued looking directly at the prince.

Another minute passed.

Now nobody was laughing.

Slowly, the prince rose from his throne and descended the steps toward Eleanor.

He could see that she was struggling, but he also noticed something else. She wasn’t begging him to stop the challenge, nor was she trying to gain his sympathy.

Finally, the prince extended his hand toward her.

“That’s enough.”

He helped Eleanor stand and then turned to face the other women.

“I did not organize this challenge to discover which of you is the most beautiful,” he announced. “There are already more than enough beautiful women in this room.”

Everyone remained silent.

“I wanted to discover who could remain composed when faced with a difficult challenge, who could persevere when everyone expected her to fail, and who would refuse to be broken by the cruelty of others.”

The prince paused and looked around the hall.

“Every one of you judged Eleanor before she even had a chance to prove herself. You laughed at her appearance, questioned her abilities, and assumed she was unworthy simply because she looked different from you.”

The women lowered their eyes.

Then the prince turned toward Eleanor and gently took her hand.

“Eleanor, you walked into this room knowing that everyone was against you. Yet you faced them without surrendering your dignity. That is the kind of strength I wanted to find.”

He raised her hand before the entire court.

“The challenge is over,” the prince declared. “And I have made my decision.”

The entire throne room fell silent.

For the first time that day, nobody was laughing at Eleanor.
